Machining-stock preparation
POM machining blanks prepared for your CNC plan
A useful blank request includes finished blank dimensions, quantity, stock allowance, material identity and downstream operations. PlasNexa reviews these inputs before confirming a supply route.
A custom acetal blank is prepared stock, not a finished CNC part. Its value comes from matching the requested envelope and quantity while leaving the buyer responsible for, or separately requesting, final machining.

Machining blank definition
State whether dimensions describe the supplied POM machining blank or the final component. Include machining allowance only when you have defined it; PlasNexa does not invent allowance or tolerance.
Single size or cut list
A repeat program may contain one standard blank or many line items. Each line should carry its own dimensions, units and quantity so it can be reviewed without guessing.
Escalate finished geometry
Contours, bores, slots, threads and controlled surfaces belong in a finished-part RFQ. That distinction prevents a blank quotation from being mistaken for a machining commitment.
Buyer questions
Can the blank include machining allowance?
Yes, if you specify the blank size or allowance. The team will not infer an allowance from final-part dimensions alone.
Are custom blanks automatically in stock?
No. Material source, stock, cut method, price and delivery are confirmed during review.
